Comprising 1642 pieces, this LEGO-reimagined F1 race car is sure to provide F1 fanatics with an immersive and rewarding building experience. Dressed in the real-life version’s authentic black-and-Petronas-green livery, the kit sports a host of intricate details reminiscent of the original that competed in last year’s F1 season.
The LEGO-reimagined Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 features a six-cylinder engine, replete with moving pistons, and a differential. Both of these items are revealed when removing the engine cover. In addition, the set is equipped with working steering, which can be operated by turning the steering wheel or a knob sited atop the model.
However, that’s not all. The large rear wing can be opened. Yup, there’s DRS. A set of slick tires is also present.
When all pieces have been clicked together, the 1:8 scale model measures five inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 25 inches long.
