League of Legendshas and always will be a competitive game. Pitting teams of 5 against each other in matches to see who is better will always spark a friendly competition between gamers. Because of this Riot ensures that the game remains somewhat balanced through patches, while also trying their hand at shaking up the meta from time to time.
However, some champions are often a mainstay in professional play. Champions like Akali, Azir, and Ryze have all had their power reduced in regular play due to their overwhelming presence at the pro level.
According to the post, K’sante had a 65% presence in pro play throughout the previous season. This number has only increased moving into Season 14, with the champion having a ridiculous 70% presence at the moment.
“I don’t mind K’Sante that much I guess but I am getting so sick of him. He’s always meta, always the best blind pick top laner. He’s just a stonewall champion top lane that can lane against anything and it makes games very boring imo…” thepost reads.

“Yeah he is just perfect for pro play he has everything you need from a top laner he builds full tank but can deal bruiser dmg in ult.” another userchimed in.
Othersblamed Riotfor overcomplicating K’sante’s kit, making him completely “broken”.
“That’s sort of the problem whenever you create a kit that’s inherently broken”
It’s uncertain if the devs have anything up their sleeves to nullify K’sante’s pro presence, but with his solo queue statistics being less than desirable, the devs certainly have a precarious balancing act ahead.
