The climactic battle between Sukuna and the jujutsu sorcerers finally comes to an end in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267.
Jujutsu Kaisenhas taken another step closer towardsits ending, withYujidefeatingSukunainChapter 267. It was a long time coming, ever since the protagonist trapped the King of Curses inside his domain inChapter 264.
Sukuna’s defeat is a collaboration between a lot of characters. Starting fromGojo, theancient sorcererfought numerous battles against powerful opponents and caused manymajor character deaths, including fan favorites like Gojo andChoso.
AfterGojo’s death, Sukuna’s defeat seemed impossible for a long time. Not only did surprise attacks not work on him, but he was also at his best after regaining his real body. What’s more, he hadMegumias a hostage after possessing his body.

However, Chapter 267 reveals there was a plan against his carnage from the beginning. Thesorcerersknew what was awaiting them if Gojo lost and made several contingency plans. One of them wasYuta’s Gojo transformation, which shocked readers but didn’t achieve much.
The most useful plan is revealed in the new installment. In Chapter 267, we see Gojo andYutamaking plans while usingsoul-swapping. Their plan not only included having Yuta eat Yuji’s finger to get Shrine but also hiding Sukuna’s last finger as the final chip.
With the last finger safely hidden, they could bring outNobara, who was thought to be dead for the longest time. Thanks to her Resonance, Yuji finally gets the upper hand in the fight and ultimately defeats Sukuna with Black Flash, ending the King of Curses’ reign of terror.
