The former Chelsea,Manchester Unitedand Real Madrid boss is no stranger to being ringside as a big fan of boxing.

The 61-year-old Portuguese manager flew out to Saudi Arabia towatch Joshua take on Ngannoubut took the opportunity to rub shoulders with some – quite literal – giants of the sport.

Standing at a towering 2.06m (6ft 9in), Fury loomed over Mourinho 1.76m (5ft 7in) as they posed for a photo ahead of AJ’s fight in Saudi Arabia.

Taking to Instagram, Mourinho wrote: “Bigger than I thought …[h]uge!!!! [Tyson Fury]. Thanks a lot for the invitation [Turki Alalshikh].”

Fury is currentlyrecovering from a freak sparring injurythat left him needing 11 stitches following a cut to his eye, an injury that seems to have knocked him out of commission for official bouts.

This accident saw his fight with Oleksandr Usyk postponed, with a new date now scheduled for May 18. However, Fury doesn’t seem interested in letting this injury keep him down for long.

Speaking ahead of Joshua vs Ngannou, Fury reassured fans he would be fighting Usyk “cut eye or not”.

Mourinho, meanwhile, finds himself without a club after he left his position at Italian Serie A side AS Roma back in January.

‘The Special One’ departed Roma earlier this year after a poor run of results left the Italian giants sat ninth in the league.
