Crossplay is a coveted feature in sports titles with a handful of games in the genre including it to their player base such asFIFA 23, andNBA 2K24but hockey fans wondered if they would get it in the annual NHL releases as well.

Is NHL 24 cross-platform?
Yes, NHL 24 does support cross-platform play however crossplay is limited in the game.
While the feature is available across every platform including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X,you will only be able to play with friends on the same generation consoles. So PS5 and Xbox Series S/X owners can play together, and PS4 and Xbox One players can enjoy the game with each other.
Unfortunately,you won’t be able to enjoy crossplay across generations, so if you’ve got a PS5 you won’t be able to play with a friend who has a PS4.
