However, PC players were shocked when NBA 2K22 was also released as the last gen version. This continued withNBA 2K23, with PC not receiving a Next Gen port once since the new consoles were launched.

Unfortunately no, NBA 2K24 is not Next Gen on PC.

While this is understandably disappointing for PC players, it’s perhaps unsurprising considering the game’s PC requirements, which were initiallyrevealed on Steam, are nowhere near the specs needed for a Next Gen release.

When the game was first announced it was also confirmed that full crossplay would be supported for console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S but the feature wouldn’t be coming to PC. The console versions of the game have also received significant technical innovations that are not present in the PC release.

Alongside the PC version still being last gen, it’s safe to assume theNintendo Switchversion also is as well, due to the hybrid console not being as powerful as the PS5 or Xbox Series S/X.
