Is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth coming to Nintendo Switch?
It has now been confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is aPlayStation console exclusive, as it Final Fantasy VII Remake and the unnamed third game in the trilogy. This means that all three games in the remake trilogy are restricted to PlayStation and PC.
The Nintendo Switch wouldn’t have been able to run any of the Final Fantasy VII Remake games, except for the possibility of cloud streaming, but fans had hoped that the Nintendo Switch’s successor was up to the task.
As it stands, Final Fantasy fans will have to play the many retro titles and spin-offs from the series that are available on Nintendo Switch, as the newer games are limited to more powerful hardware.
