A newK-drama, Chicken Nugget has sent the internet crazy as fans react to its hilarious premise: the series is literally about a woman who turns into a chicken nugget.
Korean dramas run the gamut of genres, with series dedicated to historical and crime dramas, fantasy themed shows and even horror-comedies. K-dramas are famous for their creative story lines and plots which leap from heart-wrenching to heart-warming in just a few frames.
However, the synopsis of one soon-to-be-released series has sent the internet into a fit — of giggles.

The aptly named, Chicken Nugget, is a series about the daughter of a company president mistakes a new machine as a device which will help her with fatigue. After using the machine, she’s accidentally transformed into… you guessed it. A chicken nugget.
The series follows her father, and an intern with a crush on her, as the pair try to find a way to turn her back into a human. Along the way they discover some ‘unexpected secrets’.
The series stars actress, Kim Yoo Jung, as the eponymous nugget herself. Jung is well-known amongst K-drama fans thanks to her performance of Ae-ran in the Korean thriller, The 8th Night.
“Best drama already,”joked one fan on Twitter, sharing the trailer. And K-drama fans were quick to express their enthusiasm forboth the trailer and Kim Yoo Jung.
Of course, not everyone was as convinced by the trailer. “Someone got paid to write this.”Another user chimed in.
