TikTok’s popular repost feature allows users to share content with their followers, but you might not know that it can also boost your engagement and grow your audience. Here’s how you can repost a video on TikTok.
TikTokvideos can range from three seconds right up to 10 minutes, but all can spread like wildfire with the app’s algorithm, which helps get some videos millions of likes and views.
What is TikTok’s repost button?
Simply put,TikTok’s repost feature is a quick way to share any video you find with your friends and followers.
Similar to other social media sites, instead of claiming ownership of the content by publishing it on your account, you’re simply relaying it to your followers through your account. Reposting will still show the original owner of the TikTok clip, but it will be available to your followers on your page.

The first thing you need to do is to log in to TikTok either through the app or on your desktop. Then simply search for the video you want to repost.
When you’ve found the video, tap on the share button (the arrow button on the right side of the video) to open up the share options.
Under the row of your friends on the app, there is another row of ways you can share the video with other apps. Tap on the yellow repost button at the far left to repost the video.
