How to change your character in Foamstars

There are a handful of unique characters you can use in Foamstars but how can you change who you’re playing as? We’ve got everything you need to know about switching characters in the game right here.

Foamstarsis a brand newgamefrom Square Enix and it’s an action-packed third-person shooter that’s reminiscent of the belovedSplatoonseries. In the game, you can take on PvE missions or work with up to 4 players in multiplayer to battle it out with other players in colorful foam-based combat.

It’s a title that stands out compared to the developer’sJRPGhistory including the Dragon Quest andFinal Fantasyfranchises but Foamstars does feature characters withanimeaesthetics and they all have distinct abilities and playstyles but how can you change who you’re playing as?

You can select a different character once you’ve completed the opening tutorial of Foamstars and arrive at your main base which acts as a hub area in the game. Once you’re in the base, simply follow the steps below to switch fighters:

You can also change your character skins, emotes, and player card information from the Master Saloon.

There are currently 8 characters to choose from in Foamstars, including a couple that are locked behind progression and the Season Pass. Each of them has a unique playstyle so it’s worth trying out as many as you can to see who suits you best!
