It was initially thought that there will be a total of 14 episodes in Yellowstone Season 5, but cast member Josh Lucas recently revealed that there might be as many as ten more to come in Part 2.

At first, everyone assumed that there would still be just six episodes in Part 2, but Josh Lucas (who plays young John Dutton on the show) recently told Deadline that he was under the impression thatten more episodeswere on the cards.

Since that 14-episode plan was created before it was announced thatYellowstone was cancelled, it would make sense that Sheridan and Paramount are expanding the number of episodes in order to round-out the story in a satisfying way. Still, this has yet to be confirmed by official sources.
