While Yellowstone spin-offs continue to expand the Dutton world, there’s still Season 5 Part 2 of the flagship series to go — so, here’s how many episodes there are in the fifth chapter of Taylor Sheridan’s neo-Western show.
We picked up with John Dutton (Kevin Costner) being sworn in as Montana’s new governor, but just before the mid-season break, viewers have been left on tenterhooks: will Jamie (Wes Bentley) kill Beth (Kelly Reilly)? Or will it be the other way around?
WhenYellowstone Season 5 Part 2rolls around, we’ll hopefully get our answer. But as we approach the end of the show for good, many want to know just how manyYellowstone episodeswe have left to wrap it all up. Here’s what we know.
How many episodes are in Yellowstone Season 5?
It was initially thought that there will be a total of 14 episodes in Yellowstone Season 5, but cast member Josh Lucas recently revealed that there might be as many as ten more to come in Part 2.
At first, everyone assumed that there would still be just six episodes in Part 2, but Josh Lucas (who plays young John Dutton on the show) recently told Deadline that he was under the impression thatten more episodeswere on the cards.
Since that 14-episode plan was created before it was announced thatYellowstone was cancelled, it would make sense that Sheridan and Paramount are expanding the number of episodes in order to round-out the story in a satisfying way. Still, this has yet to be confirmed by official sources.
