Before even jumping into preordering the game, you may want to know just how much storage you’ll need to set aside before getting it. So here’s everything you need to know about Black Ops 6’s file size.
Is Black Ops 6’s file size 300 GB?
Black Ops 6’s file size will not be 300+ GB,accordingto Activision.
When Black Ops 6 released for preordering, theXbox preorder pagefor the game stated the approximate file size for the game would be 309.85 GB.
However, Activision has clarified that the 300+ GB file size would include full installations of Black Ops 6, MW2, MW3, Warzone, Zombies, with all content packs and localized languages combined.
In reality, Black Ops 6 will be 149 GB, that is with Warzone and COD HQ installed. Just Black Ops 6 alone will be 78 GB.

Just like when installing MW3, you will be able to pick and choose which parts of CoD you’ll want to keep around in the CoD HQ launcher through the ‘manage files’ section.
There was no mention of whether the size is for PCs only or also is the same for consoles, as it is meant to be an approximation. With that in mind, traditionally console versions are smaller so expect less than that.
