Helldivers 2 is always receiving key patches to help alleviate any crashes, bugs, or balancing issues. After all, withso many enemiesandweapons, it’s vital to keep the meta changing and make sure everyone gets a fair shot a spreading democracy.

What’s changed in the Helldivers 2 May 7 patch notes
Unfortunately, there is no mention of thehighly demanded capein the patch notes, despite many players calling for it to markthe end of the PSN fiasco.
The May 7 Helldivers 2 patch sees some balancing fixes to the R-9 Eruptor in the form of an increased explosion damage and the removal of shrapnel, to help eliminate any accidental friendly fire.
The Shrieker and Gunships have also been buffed slightly, with the Shrieker getting its sight and hearing range increased, along with the Gunships hearing range also increasing slightly.
Then, there have been plenty of scope fixes, damage over time solves, and crash alterations meaning it’ll likely be a smoother dive for all Helldivers.

For this patch, we have made improvements and changes to the following areas

This is to avoid cases in which players would randomly one-shot themselves or their teammates in a huge radius around the explosion
