A Heisenberg movie isn’t happening

Cranston’s Walter White in Breaking Bad is one of the most iconic characters in TV history. So, naturally, people are curious if he’ll somehow return in a prequel or spin-off.

He reprised the role twice after the original show’s conclusion: in El Camino, the only film follow-up to the series, and inBetter Call Saul‘s final season.

So, what about the rumoredBreaking Bad sequelthat supposedly is being made? There’s a simple yet unsatisfying explanation.

The Heisenberg film is fake. If you’ve allowed yourself to get excited about it,you’ve been duped by YODA BBY ABY.

The Facebook page specializes in fake movies and TV news. Previous hits include the made-upGolden Girls revivaland aZac Efron Knight Rider reboot.

Why? Maybe it’s engagement farming, or maybe they see it as an art form. We’ll never know. However, that same poster has been recycled multiple times by YODA BBY ABY and other pages, continually fooling people. Trust me, it’s not happening.

The page shared a poster showing Cranston in a hospital bed, presumably from the gunshot wounds at the end of ‘Felina.’ While it may look convincing, we must reiterate thatit’s not real.

The captionreads: “WALTER WHITE RETURNS!!! HEISENBERG brings the iconic Bryan Cranston back to the screen in a pulse-pounding sequel that unfolds after the legendary finale of Breaking Bad. When an ambulance delivers Walter White to a fate seemingly sealed by cuffs and concrete, his most daring escape begins, unveiling two hours of unmatched brilliance and ingenuity.

After the end of Better Call Saul, creator Vince Gilligan confirmed he was ready to move on from the Breaking Bad universe; in other words, we’re done when he says we’re done.

Cranston has also stated he’s ready to let Walter go.
