Asreportedby Business Insider, Take-Two Interactive’s CEO Strauss Zelnik revealed during an earnings call that the GTA Trilogy dominated Netflix Games in downloads following theGTA 6 trailer reveal.

During the earnings call, Zelnik claimed that the GTA 6 trailer had a “halo effect across the entire franchise.” Naturally, this bolstered interest in the franchise across multiple different platforms—including Netflix Games.

Zelnik went on to call GTA’s partnership with Netflix a “resounding success” following the Trilogy’s performance in December and expressed interest in launching even more GTA titles on the service.

“We’d love to do more with Netflix. Who wouldn’t?” Zelnik asked. “As long as the consumers are happy to be there and as long as the economics of those arrangements make good sense.”

Considering the Netflix Games service centers around mobile gaming, it’s unclear what other titles could make their way in the future.

While many may suspect Take-Two will only bring older GTA titles to the service, that may not be the case. With reports of games likeResident Evil Village running well on certain tablets, it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear either GTA 4 or 5 come to the Netflix Games eventually.
