You can unlock new characters in the game byexchanging Crewmate Cards.

The ability to add new characters to your party becomes availableat the beginning of Chapter 4of Granblue Fantasy: Relink once Siero gives you your first Crewmate Card. To exchange the card, simply follow the steps below:

You’ll have the option to practice with the character to get used to their combat skills as soon as they’re unlocked, and then you can start taking on quests and main story missions with them.

ACrewmate Card can only be used onceso you’ll have to obtain more as you progress through the game to get more fighters. Cards are gained as rewards for completing specific quests in Granblue Fantasy: Relink so make sure to take on as many quests as you can.
