Fortnite and Nintendo collabs are nonexistent in-game, and this concept art for Super Mario has fans wanting Nintendo to change its mind.
Since its release,Fortnite‘s in-game shop has been an absolute powerhouse for Epic Games, as numerous crossovers and collabs let players live out their wildest dreams. For example, Chapter 5 Season 1 introducedPeter Griffin and Ernie the Giant Chicken, rivals now turned party members, depending on what side of the lobby you’re on.
Given the success of said crossovers, players have taken it upon themselves to create their own concepts, such asJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,Despicable Me, andSpongeBob.
In line with that sentiment, one player shared their concept for Super Mario, leaving Nintendo fans hoping the publisher will pull the plug.
Fortnite player reveals Mario Bros concept
To date, Nintendo’s been awfully absent from the Fortnite madness, while PlayStation and Xbox have brought over numerous characters to the game.
That said, that hasn’t stopped players from coming up with Nintendo-inspired concepts, includingTwitter/X user JriftJA’s Super Mario creation.

Ernie the Giant Chicken’s inclusion in Fortnite has caused a bit ofcontroversy due to the character’s model. Safe to say, there was a bit of criticism with the Super Mario concept, notably since the artist had to upscale each character to fit the bill.
However, overall reception was positive with players sharing who they’d like to see, granted Nintendo changes its stance. “I pray for the day we get Samus or Link in-game, eventually Nintendo has to loosen up.. right,” one player said, while another hoped Wario would join, albeit with the Giant Chicken proportions.
