Party Level is an EXP bar that represents the level of your entire party in the game.

This is entirely separate from individual character levels, however,increasing your Party Level does unlock new Folios in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which are where you can obtain new skills for different characters. Folios will unlock for all characters simultaneously whenever your Party Level is increased.

You won’t be able to raise your Party Level just by defeating enemies in combat, instead, you’ll have to complete various tasks and activities in the game. These are:
