Before you head into combat in Rebirth, you’ll want to make sure you’re fully prepared which includes having your weapons as upgraded as possible.
So, here’s exactly how you can upgrade weapons in Rebirth.
How to upgrade weapons in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth,your weapons will automatically upgrade when you’ve got enough Weapon SPin the game.
Whenever you defeat enemies in Rebirth you’ll earn Weapon SP and your weapons will level up once you’ve acquired a certain amount of SP. To see how much more SP you need to upgrade a specific weapon, you can simplyopen the Weapon Upgrade menu,select the weapon you want to viewstats for, and you’llfind the Weapon level and SP information at the bottom left of the page.
Once your Weapon levels up you’llunlock both passive stat boosts and Weapon Skillswhich can be manually equipped to the weapon each character is currently wielding.
No, you cannot manually upgrade weapons.
The weapon upgrade system is strictly automatic in Rebirth in contrast to Final Fantasy 7 Remake where you could manually upgrade.
