The Fear Street trilogy focused on the local kids from Shadyside, a town that is known as the murder capital of their fictional world.

The last movie — Fear Street Part Three: 1666 — saw the teenage protagonists finally break the “Shadyside curse” as it was revealed that a witch’s curse was at fault for the town’s rampant murders.

However, the fourth movie will take audiences back to Shadyside asthe movie will be based on  R. L. Stine’s 1992 novel The Prom Queen.

But stir in one brutal murder – then another, and another – and the recipe quickly turns to horror.

Lizzie McVay realizes that someone is murdering the five Prom Queen candidates one by one – and that she may be next on the list! Can she stop the murderer before the dance is over – for good?”

As the first three Fear Street films focused on the town’s connection to magic and sacrifice, it’s safe to say that Fear Street 4 will follow this trend and have its story focus on teens banding together against an ultimate evil.
