Is Pokemon Legends Z-A coming to the Nintendo Switch 2? Pokemon fans seem to think so.
A relatively sparsePokemon Presentswas capped off with the explosive reveal ofPokemon Legends Z-A. The next installment following the widely popular Pokemon Legends Arceus sees us return to the Kalos region and has the potential to answer some lingering questions.
The most exciting part about Pokemon Legends Z-A isthe return of Mega Evolution. The potential for aMega Incineroarhas prospective players chomping at the bit.
While Mega Evolution was confirmed in the game’s reveal, some speculation is also gaining traction and building even more hype. Fans of the franchise are convinced that Pokemon Legends Z-A will launch on theNintendo Switch 2.
Why do fans think Pokemon Legends Z-A is coming to Switch 2?
“My theory right now as to why they didn’t show any gameplay, is it’d be obviously ‘too good’ for Switch so it’d show Switch-2 stuff early,” another user replied. “I wouldn’t be surprised if in the first look at the next system Legends Z-A is there.”
Another tidbit that players latched onto was some language used in the reveal that claimed Pokemon Legends Z-A will launch on Nintendo Switch Systems. The emphasis here is on the plural. Unfortunately, this has been debunked as Nintendo uses that language frequently to include the Switch OLED and Switch Lite consoles.
Whether Pokemon Legends Z-A will launch alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 can’t currently be confirmed and we will have to wait for more news.
The game will certainly launch on current-gen Switch consoles so there’s no need to worry about needing the next iteration to play.
