Former NFL MVP Cam Newton got into a huge fight with members of the TSP crew at a seven-on-seven camp event on Sunday that has since gone viral.
Newton was a guest at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Atlanta, GA. for a tournament that his C1N foundation’s amateur team was participating in.
The 34 year old’s days running over defensive linemen came in handy as he got ganged up on by several individuals who jostled with him under a tent and threw several punches.
The fight took social media by storm this evening, raising speculation as to what might’ve caused the skirmish and how the former superstarNFLquarterback is doing in its aftermath.
Cam Newton holds his own after getting jumped
The three-time Pro Bowler could be seen holding off two attackers before a third young man entered the fray and appeared to land two sucker punches.

TSP (TopShelf Performance) is an 18U 7-on-7 program that also fielded a competing team at the tournament. Newton was allegedly breaking up a fight before the violent ambush turned on him.
No further details have surfaced regarding the 6-foot-5 former athlete’s health as well as any official report from the Atlanta Police Department.
