After the release of the Elden Ring DLC trailer, fans are in awe of the design of a possible boss and its weapon of choice.
FromSoftware game are all about their bosses, and Elden Ring’s upcomingShadow of the Erdtree DLClooks to be no different.
And while there are no concrete details about what bosses will be waiting for players exactly in the expansion, there are some clues from the trailerthat have fans speculating.
One such potential bosshas fans excitedthanks to their design and how they speculate the character will use their weapon.
Elden Ring players are excited about a possible DLC boss
The speculation beganon a post in the Elden Ring subreddittitled: “Appreciation post for this guy’s design.”
The post was accompanied an image of the potential boss as well as caption that reads:
“When I watched this trailer I was blown away by this guys design, idk if he’s a boss or just a regular enemy but whatever he is it’s incredibly designed. That sword inside of him looks brutal and I’m praying that we get the chance to use it at some point. June 21st better come quick.”
The rest of the comments are in agreement, with one user saying: “The way his neck stretches upward as he pulls on that sword is… sick. I love it.”
Many are speculating that signs indicate that the character will, in fact, be a boss to face in the DLC:
“It is the man from the painting (identical brooch and coat). It also looks like a video sequence. So he is A, important and B, probably a boss.”
One Elden Ring fan is even hopeful that the sword this person has been stabbed with will be available as a weapon at some point.
It’s also a clear indicator of what has players so excited for this upcoming DLC:
“Honestly every boss, enemy, and landscape in the trailer looked amazing. I haven’t been this buzzed for a DLC release since I started gaming way back when.”
While there are still plenty of mysteries left with Elden Ring’s DLC, it is clear thatthe fans cannot waitfor its release.
