We still have a little longer to wait for the next chapter of Dragon Ball Super, but we do have a definitive date to look forward to.
Japan, however, can expect the chapter onFebruary 21due to the time difference. Our hearts go out to all the Japan-based Dragon Ball Super readers.
What’s happening in Dragon Ball Super?
We’re currently at the end of the Dragon Ball Super manga covering the events of the Dragon Ball Super Hero movie with Carmine and Soldier 15 leaving Red Ribbon Army President Magenta’s funeral. In disguise as Saiyaman X-1 and X-2, Gotenks and Trunks interrupt their drive by stopping a robbery, displaying their fighting prowess.
Carmine recruits the pair to take out a “great villain,” not knowing he means Gohan. They tag along and take the pair to Gohan’s house, and Carmine attacks, setting off Gohan’s Beast form. Meanwhile, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly are training on Beerus’ planet, and Vegeta boasts about finally defeating Goku fairly in their fight during the events of Dragon Ball Super Hero.
Sensing an absurd power coming from Earth, everyone stops training. Gohan deals with the Red Ribbon remnants. Embarrassed that they’ve been tricked, Gohan gives the boys the business as Goku appears, greeting his family and Trunks.
Now Gohan can’t access this form on command, it takes a lot of anger to trigger the form so maybe we can expect a training session incoming where Goku helps his son maintain this new form. ThisGohan could gain the ability to access Beast Mode, leading to him finally being included in more fights instead of being sidelined. We’ll find out in the next chapter of Dragon Ball Super.
