Patch notes for Diablo 4’s March 12 update are live, confirming that Blizzard has finally fixed the Malphas Meteor death bug.
Diablo 4’s next sizable patch is slated for a March 12 release across all platforms. With the 1.3.4 update, Blizzard plans on finally tackling the Malphas Meteor death bug, a glitch that’s hounded players for the last several weeks.
The bug in question seemingly started affecting theSeason 3endgame boss in February. Players would come out of the boss battle victorious, only to continue taking damage from a dead Malphas’ Ice Meteor attack.
Diablo 4 1.3.4 looks as though it will finally put the frustrating glitch to bed, based on newly released patch notes.

On top of resolving the Malphas boss fight issue, Diablo 4’s March 12 update will also tackle bugs currently impacting accessibility, dungeons, and the User Interface.
One dungeon-specific fix will remove a progression-blocking bug in the Sirocco Caverns. Meanwhile, for the UI tweaks, Blizzard targeted Season Journey display errors,leaderboard filtering issues, and much more.
