The latest Demon Slayer movie has finally hit the international theatres – so here’s a look at the ending and what it means.
It’s also a fan-favorite arc, which includes all the Hashira for the first time. As the Demon Slayers prepare for the final showdown, Muzan seems to have his own plan in mind. He is coming to hunt Nezuko since she’s the only demon who has ever been able to conquer the sun.
Demon Slayer: To The Hashira Training movie ending teases major plans for Tamayo
First of all, despite having an almost two-hour screen time, the latest Demon Slayer movie only adapts Chapters 128, 129, the first half of 130, and the second half of 131 from the Hashira Training arc of themanga. The movie features the entire finale of the Swordsmith Village arc, as well as a few scenes that aren’t in the manga.
As for the ending, it’s from the second half of Chapter 131. While Tamayo is continuing her research, a crow infiltrates her home despite Yushiro’s spell hiding it perfectly. The crow introduces itself as one of the messengers of Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Also, the crow is way scarier in theanimeand even has an ominous voice.
It states the reason for meeting her, which is to request her to cooperate with Shinobu. As we all know, Tamayo is the most genius minds in the entire series, and the only one who can rival her in the knowledge of demons is Shinobu Kocho.
The idea is for the both of them to work together and discover a way to defeat Muzan. Naturally, Tamayo is skeptical despite the request coming directly from Kagaya. She never imagined a demon like her would be requested to work alongside humans. However, what the movie didn’t show is that she will agree to the collaboration and play a vital part in defeating the final villain of the series.
