The second edition will feature new art, refined prompt cards, and some exciting new cards inspired by the familiar Darrington Press board game, Queen by Midnight. It’s essentially a complete revamp, with only the rules staying the same, so fans of the original and new players can easily jump into the thrilling game.

Essentially, For The Queen is a card-based collaborative storytelling game players become royal confidants who travel with their Queen on a journey. All they need to do is either protect her or plan her demise using key question cards and their deductive skills.

This isn’t the first time Alex Roberts has worked with Darrington Press. Before this release, they previously worked on the popular game, Till the Last Gasp, which is a similar storytelling game focused on epic duels.
