A couple found themselves in an awkward situation after booking what they thought were the “best seats” on the plane.
In aviral clip with over 18.9 million views, former Real Madrid player Sergio Carrallo and his wife Caroline Stanbury, a Real Housewives of Dubai reality star, shared the view from their seats.
“When your assistant booked 1A and 1B and you thought they were the best seats on the plane,” the text overlay of the 10-second video read.
“We got the best seats in the plane. Nothing goes back,” Sergio began, showing a wall and no other seats behind the couple. “And then look at this,” he said as he turned the camera around, revealing their two seats positioned in the opposite direction, facing all the other passengers.
“So we’re facing the cabin, basically,” the TikToker said. All of the other travelers on the plane sat facing the two, with many of them staring at Sergio as he filmed.
Viewers mortified by couple’s view on plane
TikTokusers flooded the comments, saying they were shocked when Sergio flipped his phone to share his view. “Please tell me what airline so I can AVOID this,” one person wrote. “Absolutely nothing could have prepared me for the camera flip,” another said.
“I would have a blanket over my head the entire flight,” a third added. “Literally gasped when you turned the phone! My anxiety could never!!” someone else commented.
Others noted that the seats seemed to be jump seats intended for flight attendants, not for paying passengers. “You are sitting on the crew seats,” one person said. “Wait aren’t they flight attendant seats?” one user questioned.
“Yes, it’s the flight crew seats,” another responded. “They use them for take off and landings.”
This is just the latest flight-related moment to take off on TikTok after awoman sparked a viral debate on reclining the seat on a plane.
