Colossal Order, the developer behindCities: Skylines 2, has announced the full contents of the game’s 1.1.5f1 patch and it’s bringing a raft of major changes that the community has been asking for.
It’s no secret that the Cities: Skylines sequel had a really rough launch. The major complaint was performance issues, with many unable to play the game at all, despite having high-powered and specialist PCs.
Since then, the game has been steadily improving, with regular patches and content updates fixing the most egregious errors on the developer’s part. The 1.1.5f1 update is a big one, bringing a lot of bug fixes as well as major changes to the economy and population simulator.
Before we jump into the full patch notes, it’s important to note that you may see an increased death rate for a short time in your city after updating. This is because the simulator has been changed so cities don’t experience mass death events as a mass proportion of the population reaches old age at the same time.
