The viral Burger King employee who became an internet sensation with his ‘goodie bag’ reward is making headlines again.
However, instead of a pay rise or promotion in lieu of his hard work, Kevin received a goodie bag that contained a movie ticket, a bag of Reese’s Pieces, a Starbucks Tumbler, a lanyard, two pens, keychains, two packs of Lifesavers, and nothing more.
This caused a viral outrage, with people calling for justice.

After the post was shared by ABC news, people were overjoyed to hear that Kevin was celebrating a new milestone: “How embarrassing for the business owner. They should be ashamed of themselves. I’m happy to see that this man was rewarded by others.”
“The fact that the employer gave such junk shows how much they appreciate their employees… glad he went viral! Well deserved,” another wrote.
There were a few naysayers however, who weren’t too happy about Kevin’s success, writing: “So we giving awards to grown men sandbagging themselves to make others feel sorry? He could’ve had multiple homes if he swung a hammer since 18.”
Kevin isn’t the first fast food worker who shot to viral fame. In December, former Walmart employee Gail Lewis’ vest sold for over 10K.
