First Mate Gary King from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 is not afraid to speak out against Jean-Luc.
One Below Deck situation that fans can’t stop talking about isthe relationship between Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux. What started as a boatmance in Season 2 of Sailing Yacht turned into a pregnancy, in which Dani revealed that Jean-Luc was the father of her child.
Even after all this time,Dani still implies that Jean-Luc does not keep in consistent communication with their daughter Lily-Rose.
And now, after not getting himself involved in their situation for a few years, Gary is not willing to hold back his opinions anymore.
Below Deck’s Gary King calls out Jean-Luc
On February 19, Gary took to social media to sharea throwback photo of himself and the rest of Season 2, promoting the fact that the season is now available to stream on Netflix.
Noticing that Jean-Luc was included in the picture, one fan took to the comments section of the IG post, writing, “JL is a loser.”

Gary surprisingly responded, saying, “ [I] haven’t spoken to him since we wrapped, can’t find him on insta either, might have blocked me.”
When another fan brought up the accusation that he hasn’t been involved in his child’s life, Gary wrote, “That’s so sad to hear, I grew up without a father and no kid deserves that!”
Jean-Luc hasn’t publicly responded to Gary’s comments as of yet. Judging byhis own allegation, Gary is most likely not returning for Season 5 of the show. JL left right after Season 2, buthe’s implied that there’s still a chance he might.
