While the cast of these shows is always changing, there have only been a handful of Captains within the franchise.
Yet, there are still some instances where these Captains get mixed up with one another, and a recent incident is making waves.
Below Deck Med’s Captain Sandy is not Captain Glenn
On January 27, a Below Deck Med fanshared an event promo on Redditthat was advertising a boat show in Detriot.
The social media ad was hyping upCaptain Sandy Yawnfrom the Mediterranean spin-off as the special guest, which she reshared on her Instagram.
The only problem with the digital flyer is that it refers to her as the Captain of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. You might assume that she looks just like the captain of SY and that it was a simple mistake, but Sailing Yacht’s leader is none other thanCaptain Glenn Shepard(who looks nothing like Sandy).
Amazed by this error, viewers quickly took to the thread to have a field day over it.
One fan wrote, “This is hilarious and I bet it will infuriate her.”
Another fan chimed in and said, “Glen how you have changed. LOL.”
Captain Sandy hasn’t publicly addressed the mixup as of yet. In other news, there is now no sign of the promo anywhere on her and the boat show’s social media accounts.
