Below Deck Med’s newest Chief Stewardess Tumi Mhlongo is facing a lot of blame for Season 8’s docked charter.
Season 8 ofBelow Deck Mediterraneanis coming to an end, withthe finale episodeshowcasing the final charter of the season.
Because both Haley Gorman and Lara Du Preez were off the boat due to an unexpected illness, the last charter wouldn’t have been able to leave the dockdue to the lack of crew.
And even though Haley has returned to full health, the yacht still can’t go anywhere because of the weather. Now that the boat is docked, the crew must entertain the charter guests only using activities on the boat and on land.
Even though this situation is a rare occurrence, viewers still can’t get over how ill-equipped the stars seem to be over this challenge.
Below Deck Med Season 8 cast in frenzy over finale charter
On January 18, BD Med viewers were reacting tothe finale teaser, which shows the cast frantically trying to pull off a docked charter.
Most people onRedditwere shocked and disappointed by how panic-struck they seemed by the task of coming up with non-water activities for the guests to do, and some placed the blame on Chief Stewardess Tumi.
One fan wrote, “Tumi should have started searching right Sandy told them they couldn’t leave.”
Another fan chimed in and wrote, “This drove me nuts. I so love Tumi as a person, but what was shown to us made her look completely incompetent as a chief stew.”
Hopefully, Tumi and the rest of the crew are able to pull it off anyway without any more issues. The finale is set to air on Monday, January 22, and there has been no news of a Season 8 reunion.
