The latest Baldur’s Gate 3 update fixes additional issues players have reported since the release of Patch 6. Here’s everything Hotfix 21 does.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has received another update. Hotfix 21 marks the game’s fourth update sincePatch 6dropped in mid-February. That large update introduced new kiss animations, quality-of-life features, and more, but players have reported a multitude of bugs since its release.

This latest update does even more to address issues players have faced recently. Here’s what Hotfix 21 does.

What’s changed in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 21?

What’s changed in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 21?

Hotfix 21’s biggest change is restoring the ability to send items to companions who are in Camp while you are out exploring. This was an option introduced in a previous patch that was rolled back in Patch 6. After plenty of fan outcry, the feature has returned.

Another significant improvement has to do with the character and potential companion Minthara. Ever since Patch 5 introduced new ways to recruit her, players have noticed issues with her.

Theseworsened with Patch 6, with the biggest issue being her often repeating dialogue, including a line with a major Act 3 spoiler. Hotfix 21 promises to fix this, hopefully making Minthara function as intended.

Note that this update andHotfix 20are not yet available on Xbox. Larian has said it found a crash specific to the platform that needs to be addressed before the Hotfixes can be released. This also means cross-saves from platforms with the updates cannot be loaded on Xbox for the time being.
