Baldur’s Gate 3 has added ten BAFTA nominations to its impressive list of accolades, with the game having now been nominated for a total of 56 industry awards since release.

And it’s gone on to win many of them, breaking Naughty Dog’sGolden Joystick recordfor the Last of Us 2, as well ascleaning up at the Game Awards.

Naughty Dog ended up taking home three wins out of the 13 nominations for their gripping action-adventure game. While Larian Studios can’t beat their record for nominations, they could still walk away with more awards under their belt.

Plus, changes made to the BAFTA game awards this yearcould potentially prove a boon for Baldur’s Gate 3.

Previously, a jury of industry experts decided the winner in the category of Best Game, but this year BAFTA has opened voting for Best Game to all 1,000 of its members. The game’s popularity and the larger pool of votes being cast could boost Larian’s advantage in that category.

Putting aside all the buzz around the BAFTAs, BG3 has already racked up a total of56 nominationsacross prominent industry awards.
