Anthony Fantano sharedhis reviewlate on February 12, and he went all-in on slamming the Kanye West album. “This is completely unreviewable trash,” he began.

Fantano goes on to bring up the argument of “separate the art from the artist.” He countered, sharing screenshots of Kanye West’s lyrics, “You can’t separate this crap from the music because it’s in the music. Look at the lyrics. Read these words. They have meaning, and they are saying things that aren’t good or normal.”

“You would have to expect me to separate my brain from my skull if you think I’m just going to ignore it,” he added.

He continued to dissect the album, saying, “The music, too, is sh*t. The song ‘Paid’ is one of the most unintentionally hilarious tracks I think Kanye has ever put out. It’s just a crappier version of ‘Fade.'”

Upon release, Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1debuted at No. 1on iTunes. But after the album disappeared on Apple Music, it was subsequently pulled from the brand’s charts. The album was also inaccessible on YouTube Music and Tidal for a time. As of this writing, it appears to have returned to all streaming platforms.
